ON-LINE DISASTER SERVICES VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Are you interested in learning more about being an Emergency & Disaster Services Volunteer?
With a rise in major natural disasters in recent years, people have an increased desire to help but few know how. We are hosting a series of training webinars to explain the role volunteer organizations play in a major disaster and to understand what it means to volunteer effectively during a disaster response. The trainings can be taken as standalone trainings or a series.

HOW: Register for the "shift" for the webinar(s) you wish to attend. The webinars will be hosted via Zoom. Participants must have access to a mobile device or computer and the internet. Registered participants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the training.
By completing this or any future trainings, you are not committing to being deployed during a disaster, nor is The Salvation Army implying that you will be deployed. The trainings are intended to both educate those interested in learning more about volunteering during a disaster, and equip volunteers so they are better prepared for deployment if the need or opportunity rises.
