Become a vital part of The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program by helping us sort, package, and prepare gifts for hundreds of local children and families in need. Beginning December 1st, volunteers are needed Monday–Friday from 10 AM–8 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM–4 PM to help us transform thousands of donated toys and clothing items into Christmas miracles.
Each shift is a minimum of two (2) hours, but many volunteers remain beyond their scheduled time to continue helping families - you’re more than welcome to stay as long as you’d like.
Volunteer Tasks May Include:
Sorting toys, clothing, and gift bags
Checking tags and organizing gifts by family
Preparing and packaging holiday gift bundles
Restocking and keeping the workshop organized
Assisting staff with light lifting and movement of gifts
Helping load gifts for transfer to the Kroc Center (Dec 17-20)
We welcome individuals, families, groups, teens, and adults—anyone with a willing heart and joyful spirit! Come for a single shift or as many as you like. This is a perfect opportunity for service clubs, youth groups, corporate teams, and anyone who loves spreading Christmas cheer.
