The Salvation Army needs volunteers to assist with filling food bags for distribution at our weekly Ingleside Heights District Food Pantry.
What to expect:
Volunteers will arrive at 8:30am to set up tables and help unload.
The Food Bank truck delivers food between 8am and 9am
Volunteers will assist with unloading food from pallets, sort the food and then fill bags ready for distribution.
Distribution commences at approx 9am and will continue until every person has received a bag of food.
Following distribution, volunteers will assist with clean-up, and breaking down and storing tables.
Street parking only.

| Restrictions: | Moderate to heavy lifting (boxes from 10lbs-30lbs), standing and walking. Spanish, Korean and or Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus but not required. |
