The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help with distribution at our weekly food pantry to those in need in the Mission District. (Thursdays - 7:00am to 10:00am; 1325 Valencia St, San Francisco (Garage @ 24th St & Orange Alley). The food pantry supports up to 160 people in need.
Volunteers will assist with:
setup
unloading and sorting food donations
distribute produce to clients
managing distribution line
clean-up.

| Restrictions: | Moderate to heavy lifting (boxes from 10lbs-30lbs), standing and walking. Spanish and or Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus but not required. |
