Volunteer Janitor
Salvation Army of Tacoma Administration Building
Reports to: Stacy Blaisdell, Volunteer and Community Relations Coordinator
Location: The Salvation Army of Tacoma Administration Building, 1501 6th Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98405
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Keep key areas of the building clean such as bathrooms, Front Lobby, and kitchen.
- Put all equipment away properly and safely after work is completed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Complete a successful interview with Volunteer Coordinator.
- Complete all aspects of the volunteer application before starting service, including clearance of background check and completion of required trainings.
- Follow daily work sheet, checking off duties as accomplished.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds to waist level.
- Be courteous and respectful to clients, staff, other volunteers and other visitors to our building.
- Follow policies and procedures as outlined by The Salvation Army Tacoma Corps Volunteer Handbook.
