The Salvation Army Needs Volunteers for Christmas Toy Sorting & Gift Distribution!
Help make Christmas brighter for local families by volunteering with The Salvation Army Spokane! Two important activities will be taking place throughout the day: Toy Sorting and Adopt-a-Family Gift Distribution.
Toy Sorting
Volunteers will help sort and organize toys generously donated by members of our community in preparation for Christmas distribution.
Adopt-a-Family Gift Distribution
Volunteers will help distribute gifts provided by generous sponsors to families participating in our Adopt-a-Family program.
Families will arrive throughout the day, and volunteers will assist with:
Transferring sponsored gifts
Organizing gifts for distribution
Helping ensure each family receives the gifts prepared especially for them
Please note: Children are not permitted in the gift pickup area. These presents are meant to remain a surprise for Christmas morning!
Volunteer Guidelines
Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Volunteers may join us for one of two shifts: morning or afternoon.
Lunch will be provided from 12:00–1:00 p.m. for volunteers working either shift.
Thank you for sharing your time and helping The Salvation Army Spokane bring joy and hope to families in our community this Christmas!
