Thursday 6pm-7:30pm - Salvation Army Troops is a faith-based program that gives kids the chance to earn badges, meet new friends and learn in a safe environment for kids age 3(and potty trained) -17

All volunteers and staff who work with children in Salvation Army programs are required to pass a background check and complete The Salvation Amy's Child Safety program, Protect the Mission (PTM).

To start the PTM training:

  1. Go to https://www.praesidiumacademy.com/redeem

  2. Fill in your contact information including First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and desired Password.

  3. Enter the registration code: reg-salvationarmywest-202-southwestdivision

  4. Click Validate to confirm registration code.

  5. Click the checkbox to agree to the Terms & Conditions.

  6. Click Redeem.

  7. Write down your login and password for future reference.

  8. Answer the Registration Questions about your status and role within the organization.

    1. Select Volunteer from the first dropdown menu.

    2. Select either Full-Time or Part-Time from the second dropdown menu.

    3. Select Program Volunteer from the third dropdown menu

  9. Click Save & Continue.

  10. Complete required trainings based off PTM training requirements.
