The Truck Receiving Volunteer plays a vital role in ensuring our food pantry operates smoothly and efficiently. This volunteer supports the intake of food deliveries by helping unload trucks and organize inventory for the pantry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with unloading food delivery trucks in a safe and timely manner

Help sort, organize, and store food items according to pantry guidelines

Support pantry staff and volunteers with stocking shelves

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all food safety and handling procedures

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move food boxes (typically up to 25–40 lbs)

Willingness to work as part of a team and follow direction
