Administrative Volunteer - General The Salvation Army – Intermountain Division, Denver, CO 

Department: Emergency Disaster Services & Service Extension 

Location: Divisional Headquarters, Denver, CO 

Schedule: Tuesdays–Thursdays, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (Willing to work with volunteer’s schedule – can be flexible)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Administrative Volunteer to support our Emergency Disaster Services and Service Extension Department on an ongoing basis throughout the year. This in-person opportunity based in Denver plays a vital role to support the Intermountain Division across four states: Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

Key Responsibilities: 

Data Entry: Input social service statistics into internal software systems WellSky and TurboStats. 

Field Coordination: Communicate with staff and volunteers and maintain organized records of field updates using Microsoft Teams and Excel. 

Email Drafting: Assist in composing and distributing informational emails with operational updates to staff and volunteers. 

Office Organization: Help maintain a tidy and efficient workspace at Divisional Headquarters. Maintain record of office supplies, prepare supplies lists, organize storage areas, etc.

Qualifications: 

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) 

- Excellent written and verbal communication 

- Positive attitude and willingness to support a team mission 

- Must be available in-person during scheduled hours (although we do work to accomadate volunteer's schedule)

- Must be pass a background check and be willing to learn The Salvation Army’s policies and procedures on assisting vulnerable populations
