The "Rock the Red Kettle" event is a fundraising effort for the Salvation Army, used to kick off its annual holiday Red Kettle Campaign.This year we will have Wirewood Station who is an award-winning band from Colorado!! The group has received accolades, including being named "Best Acoustic Band" at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival and "Best Band" in Colorado Springs by The Gazette.

We will need 18 Volunteers to help us with the duties below for 15 tables. The Red Kettle Kickoff is the annual event that officially launches The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, which is their largest and most recognized holiday fundraising effort.

Help volunteer from 4:15pm - 6:30pm and get a free pass to stay for the Wirewood Station Concert for free and enjoy on us! This is only for those who volunteer that get this free. Drinks and food is not included. However you are welcome to purchase additional tickets if you would like to bring a friend or family to join you. Tickets are for sell at $50.00. Working Time: 4:15pm - 6:30pm. Please show 10 mins before the shift and please do stay and enjoy the fun after your shift. If you are a closer we ask that you stay till 8:30pm to help us clean up.

Volunteer Duties Include:

2.) Hosting

3.) Waiting on tables

4.) Clean Up Closers

What to wear: Get ready to wear your cowgirl/cowboy gear or a dressy shirt with jeans or slacks. No rips, holes or tears in clothing. We only ask that clothing stays family-friendly and respectful — after all, we’re celebrating the season together as a Christian organization.

Shoes: We’ll be on the move, so comfy shoes are a must! Skip super high heels or anything slippery — safety (and happy feet!) come first. There will be ramps and lots of walking around so sturdy shoes are perfect for this event
