The Salvation Army Caldwell Corps and Nampa Corps are excited to host their annual Dress-A-Child shopping event to help kids stay warm this winter. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in need. Join us early morning on Saturday, October 25th!
Responsibilities include supervising children before, during, or after their shopping experience and ensuring a safe environment throughout their time.
Assist kids in selecting warm apparelat a local retail store, while offering guidance, support, and a fun atmosphere.
Serve breakfastand entertain kids ranging from 5-17 years of age at The Salvation Army in Nampa, Fun activities will be provided.
Assist staff with inventoring and tracking purchased items.
Help us spread warmth and joy this winter season. Your involvement can make a difference!
**You must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer or accompanied by a parent.**
All volunteers must complete an application prior to the event.
The Dress-A-Child event is funded by the Nagel Foundation, who generously donated money for low-income children, aged 5-18, to have a unique clothes shopping experience. Canyon County participants in the program are registered through The Salvation Army Corps in Caldwell and Nampa. Please note that a group of school-age children have already been selected and there are no addional spaces available to participate in this year's event.
