Help create a safe, fun, and family-friendly community celebration by hosting a decorated car trunk or booth at KroctoberFest! Trunk-or-Treat Hosts will design a festive space and hand out candy, small treats, or family resources to children and families attending the event.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Decorate your car trunk or booth with a fun, family-friendly theme.

• Provide wrapped candy, small treats, or information to share with families.

• Greet and engage with children and parents in a welcoming way.

• Help create a safe, positive, and festive environment for all ages.

• Follow all event guidelines (no scary/gory decorations, no homemade food, no selling items).

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older (volunteers may participate as a group or family; all ages welcome)

• Provide your own decorations and candy/treats

• Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended

• Must comply with Salvation Army’s family-friendly event standards

Schedule & Time Commitment:

• Date: Friday, October 31, 2025

• Time: 3:30-9:00 PM (provides set-up and tear down time)

• Event will be from 5:00-8:00 PM

• Commitment: One-time for the duration of event
