The Set-Up Team plays a key role in preparing for the Kroc Center’s KroctoberFest Trunk-or-Treat, a safe and family-friendly event for all ages. Volunteers will work alongside staff to help transform the outdoor space into a festive and welcoming environment for the community.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist staff with setting up tables, chairs, and cones to define activity and booth areas

• Help decorate department booths and event spaces under staff guidance

• Carry, arrange, and organize event supplies and materials

• Provide general support to staff in preparing activities for the event

• Ensure the set-up process contributes to a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment

• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working as a team

Qualifications:

• Ages 13 and up (volunteers under 18 require parent/guardian consent)

• Able to lift, carry, and move event items (tables, chairs, supplies, decorations)

• Comfortable working outdoors and standing/walking for the duration of the shift

• Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended

• Willing to follow staff direction and work as part of a team

Schedule & Time Commitment:

• Date: Friday, October 31, 2025

• Time: 3:30 – 5:30 PM

• Commitment: One-time event, 2-hour shift
