Our Family Emergency Shelter houses 24 families and up to 118 people every day. We have an activity center on campus to help provide fun and meaningful activity for the children and families and this year we're hosting a Trunk or Treat. We are looking for volunteers to host trunks to support kids experiencing homelessness and help them have a fantastic (and safe!) Trick or Treating and Halloween experience!
Be creative and pick a theme for your trunk (appropriate for small children, nothing scary or gory) and maybe even dress up! Please only bring individually wrapped food items-no homemade goods (although we're sure they're tasty!). You can also bring stickers, little toys etc.
Arrive at 11am to set up your station- trick or treating begins at 11:30 ends at 1.
