To serve as a spiritual ambassador during the National Day of Prayer by welcoming guests, offering prayer, and inviting people into deeper connection with God and the community of faith at the Kroc Center.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests near the Prayer Corner (located near the gym entrance and welcome desk)

• Ask guests if they would like to receive prayer

• Offer brief, encouraging prayers or listen supportively

• Provide church service information and extend a warm invitation to attend services at the Kroc

• Maintain a calm, respectful, and approachable presence

Qualifications Needed:

• Faith-based individual with a warm and welcoming spirit

• Comfortable praying with and for others in a public setting

• Business casual attire. Jeans and collared shirt are okay (no holes, rips, tears, or bleached highlights | no inappropriate or offensive language or graphics). Clothing should reflect professionalism, neatness, and respectability.

• Hair should be neat, clean and well-groomed. No hats

• Jewelry, makeup, perfume and cologne should be tasteful

• Must be 16 years or older

• Dependable and able to serve a 2-hour shift

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect diverse backgrounds

Schedule:

This is a single-dayopportunity. Volunteers may select one or more of the following 2-hour time blocks:

• 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

• 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Time Commitment:

Minimum of one 2-hour shift on May 1st, 2025. Single-day event.

Additional Information:

Volunteers will receive a brief orientation before their shift.

Area is handicap accessible for wheelchair, scooter, walker, etc.
