Community Resource Coordinator (Remote)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to help identify and compile valuable community resources that can support individuals and families in need. This role involves researching, documenting, and maintaining an up-to-date directory of local services, such as food banks, shelters, healthcare providers, employment assistance, and other essential programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify local organizations and services that provide support to the community.

  • Compile and maintain an organized database of resources.

  • Reach out to organizations to gather updated information on available programs.

  • Assist in creating informational materials to share resources with community members.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure resources are accessible and relevant.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong research and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable reaching out to organizations via phone or email.

  • Ability to summarize and present information clearly.

  • Passion for community service and helping others.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Google Docs, Excel, or similar tools) are a plus.
