Complete Community Service at Shelter in Anaheim

The Salvation Army Center of Hope in Anaheim is offering a space where you can complete your community service hours. At The Salvation Army Center of Hope in Anaheim you will help maintain and enhance the environment for our shelter guests. Whether you’re picking up trash, moving items, assisting with maintenance, or helping keep the space clean and organized, your efforts are essential in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for those in need.

How You Can Help:

??Cleaning & Organizing – Assist with keeping common areas tidy, including the dining hall, hallways, and shared spaces.

??Outdoor Maintenance – Help with pulling weeds, watering plants, and keeping outdoor spaces clean.

??Trash Pickup & Removal – Keep the shelter grounds safe and clean by collecting and disposing of trash.

??Moving & Organizing Items – Help relocate furniture, donations, and supplies as needed.

??Maintenance Support – Work alongside the maintenance team to complete general upkeep tasks.

??Decorating & Setup – Assist in making the shelter feel more like home by organizing and beautifying common areas.

?This is an active 325-bed low-barrier shelter—please be respectful and courteous to all residents.

Restrictions: Must be over the age of 18. Area is not air conditioned but the shift is in the AM! There will be some minor lifting and volunteer should not have any balance or mobility constraints. Thank you!!
