Join us this holiday season in spreading joy and making Christmas brighter for children in our community! We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to help with our annual Christmas Toy Distribution Event.
Volunteer Duties:
Provide a warm, welcoming environment for all attendees
Escort families withselecting toys for their children (infants thru 12 years old)
Ensure toys are given according to appropriate age group
Periodically restock toys, organize toy display and rearrange areas as needed.
Coordinate with staff to support with ensuring smooth operations of event
Distribute fresh produce and food to families at the food pantry area
Volunteer Requirements:
Must be at least 14 years old to participate. If a minor, a parent must be accompanied with child and both must register.
Friendly, reliable, and eager to make a positive impact
Ability to lift and carry boxes of toys (light to moderate weight)
A passion for giving back to the community
Mandatory Orientation meeting on the day of the event prior to opening doors to the public (8:20m-8:40am). During orientation you will learn the layout of the warehouse and review important rules and instructions to follow when helping every parent select toys for their children that meet the age criteria.

Working Conditions:
May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time in an indoor warehouse.
Appropriate Attire:Please wear closed-toe shoes (not sandals, heels, flipflops). Wear multiple layers such as: long sleeve shirt, sweater & jacket. Be aware that the warehouse temperature can be cooler than expected, and the weather may vary.
How to Volunteer: Register online through this posting to secure your spot. If you want to be part of this special event and help, make this Christmas magical for 650 children in need, please sign up by Wednesday, December 11th. No walk ins will be allowed.
1 Registration = 1 individual participating. If families want to participate, each family member must register and coordinate with the volunteer coodinator.
