Why should I be a Food Pantry Volunteer?
This opportunity is perfect if you:
• Seek an easy way to gain volunteer hours
• Can serve on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 12:30-3:30 pm
• Desire a personal connection to the community you are serving
Note: Volunteers for this position must be at least 16 years of age or older. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
How will I be helping?
A Food Pantry Volunteer can expect to:
• Prepare food boxes
• Organize food on shelves
• Greet and assist clients with basic questions
• Stock, sort, and cleanour pantry
Is this a good fit?
A Food Pantry Volunteer must be:
• Able to follow directions
• Happy to work with others
• Capable of some light lifting
• Flexible and eager to help where needed
• Reliable and punctual
• Willing to wear closed-toed shoes
