Role Overview:As a Line Monitor, you will help ensure that participants have a smooth and organized experience during our event. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with the public and ensuring that operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor lines and assist guests as they wait for services or activities.

• Provide information and answer questions to help guests feel comfortable and informed.

• Help maintain order and ensure a respectful environment in the line.

• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure a seamless flow of guests.

• Assist with crowd control as needed, ensuring safety and compliance with any event guidelines.

• Report any issues or concerns to event staff.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Previous experience in event support or customer service is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions

• May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

• Please be aware this role requires indoor/ outdoor activity and is working with seniors (55+ years old)

• Appropriate Attire: Please wear closed-toe shoes (not sandals, heels, flipflops). Shirts should be short or long-sleeved (no spaghetti straps, strapless, sleeveless, mid-riff showing or tank top types). Shorts/dresses/skirts should be longer in length, appropriate for comfortably bending and reaching items.
