Position:Clerical Administration Support
Reports to:Estefani Gomez Pacheco
Mondays thru Fridays, 2:00pm – 4:00pm. (1 volunteers needed per day).
Job Summary
The Clerical Administration Assistant is responsible for the tasks that help manage the day-to-day office operations. These duties can vary, but some common tasks include:
Create name cards at Food Pantry: Design and print name cards for food pantry clients to facilitate a more personalized and efficient distribution process.
Greeting visitors:Welcoming clients and visitors to the office
Filing paperwork:Maintaining an organized file system
Data processing and file creation:Encompasses the process of cleaning, organizing, and structuring data, ultimately producing files in specific formats. Safekeeping and organizing important information.
Communication:Responding to client questions, inquiries and assist with communication of program services.
Skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in data entry.
Multitask
A positive and helpful attitude.
Maintain Privacy and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with care, including company data, client information and proprietary knowledge from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Working Conditions
May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Appropriate Attire:Please wear closed-toe shoes (not sandals, heels, flipflops). Shirts should be short or long-sleeved (no spaghetti straps, strapless, sleeveless, mid-riff showing or tank top types). Shorts/dresses/skirts should be longer in length, appropriate for comfortably bending and reaching items.
Required:
• Register as volunteer for Clerical Administration Support
• Age Requirements: 14 or older. You must be confirmed to participate. No walk-ins.
• Complete onboarding paperwork
• Attend Volunteer Orientation
• Volunteers going over 20 hours must complete a Background Check
