For over 40 years, The Salvation Army has delivered Thanksgiving meals to homebound seniors and disabled adults.
Sign up to make this Thanksgiving one to be grateful of for all! Assist in preparing hot Thanksgiving Day meals for delivery or deliver meals to members of our community. Our elderly and housebound adults in Anchorage can experience isolation during the holidays. The special touch of a fresh Thanksgiving meal and a warm greeting from our volunteers will be extra special this Thanksgiving!
Notes for delivery shifts:
Drivers must have their own vehicle and at least one passenger to accompany you on deliveries. (We cannot match drivers with passengers- thanks for understanding!) Great family volunteer opportunity!
We are planning for 30 Delivery Routes. 10-15 delivers per meal route (1-2 food coolers) please ensure you have space for 1-2 food coolers.
NOTE: Drivers - please only reserve ONE SPOT PER VEHICLE
