Avanti volunteers will be helping with preparing hot meals at our Harbor Light Men's Recovery Center (2136 Champs Street, Denver, CO 80205). Harbor Light's kitchenn provides food and meals for nearly all Denver Metro services from The Salvation Army and produce more than 3000 meals a day!
Volunteers will be preparing hot meals for Habor Light residents, packing sack lunches for shelter guests in 5 locations, and assisting with stocking and inventory at our Harbor Light Men's Recovery Center.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and water bottle. If possible, we recommend carpooling as there is only limited street parkingavailable.
