Fall Fest Volunteer

Please read the following:

  • Volunteers for this position must be at least 18 years of age or older.

  • Volunteers are carefully paired with opportunities that align with their skills and experience, and comprehensive on-site training is offered to ensure their preparedness.

  • All Salvation Army volunteers may undergo a background check upon staff request or after completing eight hours of service.

Project Volunteer ResponsibilitiesFall Fest volunteers at The Salvation Army of Nampa play a vital role in supporting the Fall Festival and Legacy 5K Run and Walk. Responsibilities can vary widely based on needs and may include:

1. Set Up/Tear Down: This event will require moderate set-up and activity organization.

2. Wristband Distribution: Participants of this event may have previously signed up online or at the time of the event and will receive appropriate wristbands for their participation level (5K Race Participant or Fall Fest Participant or Both!)

3. Legacy 5K Race:The first half of this event includes a 5K run/walk and we will need volunteers to help keep everyone hydrated and tally laps around the track.

4. General Support:Provide general support for various projects, which may involve organizing supplies, setting up events, or festival activities (such as bounce house monitoring, crafts, or games).
