Parking:

Drive down long driveway until you reach parking lot. Park, and walk towards the first building on your left (food pantry).

When:

Thursdays 1pm-3pm

Volunteers coming for the first time or those who have not volunteered inside the food pantry for more than 3 months must arrive at 12:45pm and complete an orientation

You must be confirmed to participate, no walk-ins.

What are the steps to be a volunteer?

• Volunteers 14 years old and younger must also have a parent/guardian volunteer with them- parent/guardian must also register and be approved to volunteer.

• Cleared on Megan's Registry

• Submit completed Volunteer Packet

• Cleared on The Salvation Army internal Territorial Registry for volunteers

• Submit an ID/DL copy

• Complete USDA forms- Civil Rights training

Appropriate Attire: Mandatory closed-toe shoes, no sandals, flipflops, heels or open-toe shoes allowed. Shirts should be short or long sleeve shirts, (not spaghetti straps, mid-riff showing, sleeveless, tank top type shirts). Shorts/skirts/dresses must be longer in length for bending, reaching and lifting.

Background Check after 40 hours or if volunteer plans to complete more than 40 hours
