About our program:

Baby Haven is our incentive-based program for low income families who are either expecting a baby or have a child under 24 months old. This program offers bi-monthly classes to parents to help them keep their babies--and families--informed and healthy. Parents who attend classes can acquire diapers, baby clothing, hygiene products, and other items.

How will I be helping?

Volunteers are an important part of ensuring that our Baby Haven classroom and boutique are organized and well-stocked. This includes:

• setting up our classroom on Mondays and/or Wednesdays between 2-5 pm

• stocking our boutique with diapers, blankets, and hygiene products on Mondays or Wednesdays between 2-5 pm

• tidying up classroom and boutique on Tuesday and/or Thursday between 1-4 pm

• organizing seasonal baby clothes and supplies as needed

A Baby Haven Boutique volunteer must be:

• Comfortable working alone

• Flexible and eager to help where needed

• Available to volunteer 2-5 hours per month (on weekdays only)

• Able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 15 pounds
