Purpose: The purpose of this event is to assist underserved families that include children in grades K thru High School with $150, worth of new clothing for the upcoming school year.

Description: Volunteers are needed as Shopping Chaperones and will be matched with a child and help them select new clothing or school uniforms that fit well and/or adhere to the dress code of the school they attend. Shopping Chaperones will be given an info sheet listing sizes, and/or colors for uniform requirements, and agree to follow specific instructions for this event.

Volunteers must be "early-risers" as this event is 6:15am-6:30am for check-in and must finish before the store opens to the public at 10am.

Requirements:

• All volunteers must register online and e-sign waivers.

• Ages 14-16 must be paired up w/volunteer parent or adult.

• Volunteers must be confirmed to participate.

• Every volunteer will be given a different confirmation number that will be used for check-in and during the event.

• Volunteers will bring a CA DL, CA ID or Student ID for check-in.

• Instructions will be given once confirmed.

• A mandatory orientation will be given 20-25 minutes before the shopping event begins. You must be present to hear final instructions, updates or changes. If not, you agree to be re-assigned to help another way during event.
