Description

Become a vital part of our National Volunteer Week initiative by joining us as a Mural Painting & Organization Volunteer for a special project at The Salvation Army Bell Shelter! We're seeking passionate individuals to help transform one of the walls in our newly installed dog area into an uplifting mural masterpiece and organize the clothing area at the shelter. This collaborative project will not only provide much-needed resources, but provide an uplifting environment for shelter residents.

Duties

  • Assist in painting a mural using the paint-by-numbers technique.

  • Collaborate with fellow volunteers to ensure the completion of the mural according to the provided design.

  • Help organize clothing donation area and tidying up common spaces.

  • Follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by the project coordinator.

Qualifications

  • No prior mural painting experience necessary; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and engaging in physical activities such as painting and cleaning.

Please note we are unable to accomodate groups larger than 10 for this project.
