Volunteers are needed to pack fresh produce into plastic bags and double-knot closed for easier distribution. Packed produce will be given to individuals, Seniors & disadvantaged families.

This activity takes place outdoors, Mondays thru Wednesdays.

Select times: 8:30am-9:30am; 8:30am-10am; 8:30am-10:30am; 9am-10am; 9am-10:30am; 9:30am-10:30am; 9:30am-11:30am.

Requirements:

1. On-line Volunteer Registration @ The Salvation Army Volunteer website, (includes e-waivers)

2. Volunteer Orientation ~20-25 minutes before participation

3. Megan's Law check & clearance

4. Initial USDA Form

5. Ages: 14 or older (or ages 12-13, w/adult participation and supervision will be considered).

6. Volunteers going over 20 hours will need to complete a Background Check

Volunteers are no longer required to wear face masks but it is still strongly recommended.

If you are unwell or have symptoms of COVID, please stay home and reschedule for another time.

Appropriate Attire: Mandatory closed-toe shoes, no sandals, flipflops, heels or open-toe shoes allowed. Hair nets and plastic gloves are provided. Shirts should be short or long sleeve shirts, (not spaghetti straps, mid-riff showing, sleeveless, tank top type shirts). Shorts/skirts/dresses must be longer in length for bending, reaching and lifting.
