The Salvation Army needs meal servers, table set up/decor, beverage bar (perfect for kids!) which consists of cocoa/coffee/cidar/tea, bathroom monitors, and a variety of other stations to assist guests/families for Thanksgiving. Please go to our main Campus Community building 204 E Nora Ave, Spokane WA 99207 (Enter under blue canopy). There will be signs to navigate volunteers. We will all meet in the Chapel to go over how the event will go, assign tasks, put badge/vests on, and go over any questions you may have. We are expecting to serve over 300 people this year OR until food runs out! Volunteer positions are first come first serve so if you want to have a particular position, be early! This is a very fun and fulfilling event for those less fortunate w/o families/homes to enjoy this holiday with. Make it a great one this year and join us! Thank you for your time this holiday and spending it with those who are less fortunate.

Here is a breakdown of what to expect..........

9am-9:30am: Check-In/orientation/prayer

9:30- break to station of your choosing

9:35-11:45: beverage bar is set up along with toppings, tables are set along with decor, server help is ready, monitors for building is set, floaters, ect.(BEVERAGE BAR NEEDS TO BE SET UP AT 11AM)

12pm - doors open to the general public/guests from our programs. We serve until the food runs out.

1:30-2pm - meal ends/cleanup/tables, chairs put away.

UPDATE: We will be having Blessing Beyond the bridge provide/cook the Thanksgiving meal so there will be no volunteers in the kitchen to cook unless you are a server or have chosen to be apart of the beverge bar, however, we still need servers, beverage bar attendants, decor team, set up team, and general engagement with the guests/families!
