We have an incredible opportunity that will allow you to directly impact the lives of local families facing food insecurity. The Chico Salvation Army feeds about 250 local families every week and we are looking for food pickup drivers.

As a Food Pickup Driver, you will be the driving force behind our efforts to collect donated food from local stores. Every Monday and Tuesday, we pick up food donated by local stores in our box truck and bring the food back to the corps for distribution. We are seeking someone who can drive Mondays anytime between 9am-2pm to Oroville or every other Tuesday from 8am-10:30am in Chico. Your role is crucial in ensuring that no good food goes to waste and reaches the families who need it the most.

No special license required-just a clear driving record and the ability to lift between 35-50lbs. Come have a part in feeding you local community and have fun while doing it!
