The Paper Marketing Materials Assistant plays a valuable role in helping The Salvation Army share important information with the community. This position supports outreach and event promotion by preparing printed marketing materials for distribution, including folding, cutting, and stuffing envelopes.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Fold brochures, flyers, and letters neatly and consistently.
Stuff envelopes with marketing or informational materials.
Assist with labeling and sorting mailings for delivery or distribution.
Help organize completed materials for pickup or storage.
Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Able to sit, stand, or bend while working.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
No prior experience required—just a willingness to help!
Schedule & Time Commitment:
When: Sept 22nd - Sept 30th, and/or Nov 17-21st
Time Commitment: Flexible shifts, preferably 2–4 hours per session depending on project needs
Days Available: Monday–Friday, during business hours
Additional Information:
On-site orientation and training provided
Gain experience in basic administrative and marketing support tasks
Contribute to community outreach and awareness
Letters of recommendation available upon request after consistent service
Volunteer hours can be verified for school or service credit
