Help Distribute Water & Supplies to Those in Need!
Tucson City Coordination

Every year beginning in June, The Salvation Army’s annual Operation Chill Out project kicks into high gear! Volunteers help distribute cold water bottles, nonperishable, healthy snacks, and essential hygiene and heat relief items daily to the homeless who are staying at or near Santa Rita Park.

During the hottest months of summer last year (and with support from the Tucson community), we were able to provide respite and food to more than 16,000 individuals - including children and families -at the Hospitality House shelter and through Operation Chill Out. Our continued ability to help those in need depends heavily on volunteer support!

To learn more and if you'd like to volunteer for this important project, please contact Kristin Ohman, Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] or at: 520-448-3997.
