Volunteers are needed to assist with our Food Distribution (Drive-Thru).

Drive-Thru Food Distribution Volunteers:

This activity takes place outdoors, Mondays thru Fridays, 8:30am-12:30pm. Description: Volunteers will load food boxes into trunks of cars as clients drive-thru. of cars. Involves, standing, bending, walking and lifting approximately 5lb food boxes. Drive-Thru Distribution Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, (ages 12-13 w/adult volunteer participant may be approved).

Food Distribution Volunteers:

1. On-line Volunteer Registration (includes waivers)

2. Volunteer Orientation ~15 minutes before participation

3. Megan's Law check & clearance

4. Initial USDA Form

5. Ages: 14 or older can volunteer without parent, (or ages 12-13 w/volunteer parent).

6. Volunteers going over 20 hours will need to complete a Background Check

Volunteers are no longer required to wear face masks but it is still strongly recommended.

If you are unwell or have symptoms of COVID, please stay home and reschedule for another time.

Appropriate Attire: Mandatory closed-toe shoes, no sandals, flipflops, heels or open-toe shoes allowed. Hair nets and plastic gloves are provided. Shirts should be short or long sleeve shirts, (not spaghetti straps, mid-riff showing, sleeveless, tank top type shirts). Shorts/skirts/dresses must be longer in length for bending, reaching and lifting.
