Spokane Citadel Corps

We're sorry, but this opportunity is in the past and online registration is closed for this opportunity. You may select a different opportunity, or you may contact the volunteer coordinator to see if any other opportunities are available in your area.

45 Volunteers will come together and help make way for our new program The Way In (TRAC - Trent Resource and Assistance Center)

You all will be divided into 3 groups. Group 1 will go through the belongings and assort what will be kept and what will be tossed. Group 2 will clean and wipe down each tote to be reused for the guests. Group 3 will label each tote with each guests currently staying at Trent.

Group 1 and 3 will have a supervisor overseeing what to keep, throw away, and properly label the guests name/date for the totes.

PLEASE NOTE: Salvation Army staff will be providing transportation to and from TRAC as there is no parking available at TRAC.

There will be 2 Salvation Army shuttles to transport the volunteers from The Community Center on our main campus at 204 E Nora Ave, Spokane Washington to TRAC located at 4320 E Trent Ave Spokane, WA 99212.

There will be a volunteer check in sign right outside The Community Center building. Please enter the building into the chapel where I will go over expectations, the volunteer waiver forms, and the schedule for the day before we head to TRAC. This will be discussed in our chapel. Volunteers can start showing up anywhere between 8:15am-8:30am in the chapel. From 8:30am-8:45, I will discuss the overall scope of work expected to get done with volunteers. From there, I will direct volunteers to the salvation army shuttle.
