The resource navigator answers calls from families in need in Denver Metro and helps them by providing information, referrals, and intake assessment over the phone.
Our operations are 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. Ideally, volunteers can work 4-24 hours per week during these open times.
Specific Functions:
A. Answers calls for information regarding The Salvation Army’s assistance programs and other community resources
B. Assess needs and identify resources.
C. Documents calls accurately utilizing a computerized internal database
D. Use active and compassionate communication skills
E. Other duties as assigned

• Competent in working independently within clear parameters
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to creatively problem-solve and think on their feet
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Strong communication and people skills over the phone.
