Community Meals: Prep, Cooking & "To-Go" Services

The Salvation Army provides community meals “to-go” for individuals experiencing homelessness in partnership with Food Not Bombs on Thursday at 8:30 PM. Volunteers are needed to help prep cook, cook, and box this vegan meal “to-go” for our community. Prep and cooking begins at 5:30 PM; to-go meal service begins at 8:30 PM. Please enter facility from alley entrance off of Colorado/Broadway, not the front 4th street entrance. PLEASE NOTE: Masks and gloves are required for all volunteers. If you do not have your own masks or gloves, they will be provided for you. If you have recently tested for COVID-19 and are waiting for your test results, we ask that you please consider volunteering after receiving a negative result. Please help us prevent the spread of COVID-19 to our staff, other volunteers, and the vulnerable community we serve.

Restrictions: 18+ years in good health; must be fever free for 24 hours and showing NONE of the follow symptoms: cough, sore throat, respiratory problems/difficulty breathing.
