Christmas Assistance Interviewers - Locations Vary

We are sorry, but all shifts are full and registration for this opportunity is currently closed. This Holiday season we need your help with the process of interviewing families for our Angel Tree Program. The Salvation Army is helping over 4000 families during the Christmas Season and your help is crucial to providing this service and giving families the joy of Christmas.

Volunteer duties may include: 1. Helping families complete a one page application to qualify to receive food, clothing and toys. 2. Asking them about their children's toy wishes and clothing sizes.

3. Checking for verification of income, address. etc.

This volunteer opportunity takes place at different locations in Sacramento County.

Good printing/handwriting and attention to detail are important. Knowledge of Spanish, Russian or Ukrainian can be helpful.

***DISCLAIMER*** THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE DURING YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT. IF THAT IS THE CASE, WE MAY RELEASE YOU EARLY. YOU WILL STILL RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE TOTAL SHIFT HOURS.
