Advisory Committee Member
The Salvation Army Loveland Center
The Salvation Army of Loveland and Berthoud is looking for volunteers with connections in business and non-profit community and knowledge of community resources to serve on the Advisory Committee.
Committee members advise on wide spectrum of issues including funding, services provided by local Salvation Army, community involvement, partnerships with other organizations, fundraising, organizing annual Red Kettle campaign.
Committee meets monthly, second Wednesday of the month at 8:30am – 10am. Time commitment may increase from September to January as committee members help with Red Kettle campaign: ring bells at the store fronts in Loveland, count money donations from the red kettles, drive to pick up kettle donations from fourteen different store locations.
Volunteers are invited to attend Advisory Committee meetings to visit and observe prior to making commitment to serve on the Committee.
