Office Assistant
The Salvation Army Loveland Center
The Salvation Army of Loveland and Berthoud is looking for volunteers to help with office tasks and to provide services to families and individuals experiencing housing instability.
Duties include:
• Basic Social Services: initial intake, interview and needs assessment of Social Services clients.
• Offer information, referrals, encouragement and prayer support to clients and their families.
• Help with emergency assistance: food boxes, clothes, hygiene kits, bus passes, household items.
• Enter information about clients and assistances into online database. Computer training is provided.
• Attend community events and visit other service agencies for collaboration and resource sharing (includes driving personal vehicle, walking or using other modes of transportation).
• Answer phones, emails.
Time commitment: 3 hours/week or more. Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
