The Salvation Army of Loveland and Berthoud is looking for volunteers to help with office tasks and to provide services to families and individuals experiencing housing instability. Duties include: • Basic Social Services: initial intake, interview and needs assessment of Social Services clients. • Offer information, referrals, encouragement and prayer support to clients and their families. • Help with emergency assistance: food boxes, clothes, hygiene kits, bus passes, household items. • Enter information about clients and assistances into online database. Computer training is provided. • Attend community events and visit other service agencies for collaboration and resource sharing (includes driving personal vehicle, walking or using other modes of transportation). • Answer phones, emails. Time commitment: 3 hours/week or more. Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
