The Food Service Department's goal is to prepare healthy, delicious meals and meet those needs for our homeless community and Salvation Army senior and children's programs. Your volunteer service directly impacts clients staying at the RJ Montgomery Homeless Shelter, senior meals and veteran and children's programs. We serve hot meals for dinner during the week days, and the weekend meals are prepared by local churches. Duties include assisting staff with food preparation, dining room service and maintaining cleanliness throughout, depending on your ability and experience. Food service safety practices, methods and training are available including food handlers card. Your previous experience and professional skills are a plus.
