The Good Samaritan Center in Sand City provides essential services, including food boxes and meals, for people who seek our help each day.
We are seeking energetic volunteers to help in the afternoons: 1-4pm
- Sort/stock the food warehouse
- Prepare food boxes and "no cook" bags
-Organize Clothing Closet
- Create hygiene kits
- Serve Coffee and bagels in the morning
Volunteers should be able to lift boxes, bend, and walk safely, and be friendly and accept our guests without discrimination.
This opportunity is suitable for individuals and groups. Shifts are 2-4 hours, Monday - Friday.
Please note: A background check and fingerprinting may be required for all volunteers as we work closely with vulnerable individuals
