The Senior Activity Center in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for volunteers who like to interact with seniors and can lead various activities such as arts and crafts or group exercise. Sitting down and chatting with senior members can provide a wealth of knowledge for any individual! Many older adults have life experiences much different from other younger generations. They have clearly lived through some of the greatest changes technology has brought to our world, from kitchen appliances and color television, to computers and cell phones. Listening to their stories can provide wisdom and insight for life, offering a new perspective for your own life circumstances. If you don't have a craft or activity, that's ok! Why not come by to lead a game of bingo? Let us know what you want to do! We are open to discussing your ideas.
