Emergency Disaster Services Team Member
Santa Rosa Corps

The Salvation Army is often among the first on the scene when a disaster strikes. Officers and volunteers are trained to meet all kinds of emergencies by providing food, shelter, clothing and spiritual comfort.

Disaster canteens have become familiar sights to firemen, policemen and victims alike. A Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) canteen is a mobile kitchen, a "free" store on wheels, a light in the darkness for a disaster victim or a first responder looking for renewed strength and energy during a troubling time.

Our local team stands always ready to respond to any emergency whether local or international.

Team members of our Emergency Disaster Services are caring adults from many different walks of life; who are ready and available to spring into action when a disaster strikes.
